Tras el pase a la gran final la semana pasada de Marcus & Martinus en primera instancia y Paul Rey tras la segunda ronda, Suecia afronta por fin la última semana de eliminatorias de su magnánime final nacional: el Melodifestivalen. La cuarta eliminatoria del icónico formato se celebrará este sábado a partir de las 20:00 en directo desde el Malmö Arena de Malmö, conocido entre otros eventos por haber acogido el Festival de Eurovisión de 2013.
Las siguientes 7 canciones que se verán las caras encima del escenario y que serán presentadas por Farah Abadi y Jesper Rönndahl ya cuentan con sus letras publicadas en la Mellopedia oficial del certamen creada por el ente público sueco SVT. Échales un vistazo a continuación:

El formato del Melodifestivalen 2023
La 63ª edición del formato musical sueco por excelencia se desarrollará a lo largo de seis semanas entre el 4 de febrero y el 11 de marzo por toda la geografía del país escandinavo. Todas las galas serán presentadas por la conductora Farah Abadi y el humorista Jesper Rönndahl. En las cuatro primeras eliminatorias, que contarán cada una de ellas con 7 canciones a concurso, las dos candidaturas más apoyadas por el público pasarán directamente a la final, mientras que las que finalicen en tercer y cuarto lugar se clasificarán en su lugar para la semifinal.
Durante las eliminatorias, la primera canción en clasificarse será la que obtenga mayor número de votos en el cómputo total, mientras que el resto de temas deberán enfrentarse a una segunda ronda en la que las preferencias del público se dividirán en puntos repartidos por grupos de edad más un grupo dedicado exclusivamente a llamadas y SMS.
En dicha semifinal, las 8 canciones que tomen parte se enfrentarán de nuevo al voto del público, quien escogerá sus cuatro temas favoritos para completar la final junto a los 8 que ya se hayan clasificado anteriormente. En esta final será en la que juegue un papel el jurado internacional; que, en la misma proporción que el público, decidirá parte del resultado y a quién representará a Suecia en el Festival de Eurovisión 2023 en Liverpool.
Cornelia Jakobs representó a Suecia en Eurovisión 2022 con Hold Me Closer, clasificándose para la final en Turín y quedando en cuarta posición con 438 puntos.
