Reddi en la PrePartyES / Rocío Muñoz – Eurovision-Spain
La banda danesa interpretará la canción The Show en el Festival de Eurovisión 2022.
La banda formada por Mathilde Savery, Agnes Roslund, Ida Bergkvist e Ihan Haydar se alzó con la victoria en el tradicional Dansk Melodi Grand Prix. Interpretarán en el escenario de Turín la canción “The Show” interpretada en inglés.
La banda se formó para participar en la preselección danesa y se hizo con la mayor puntuación lo que las llevó a la victoria al recibir el 37% de los votos en la Superfinal.
CONOCIENDO A LAS INTEGRANTES DE REDDI
Ihan Haydar, nacida en 1993 en la ciudad danesa de Naestved, participó anteriormente en la banda danesa L.I.G.A. y tocó la batería cuando Soluna Samay representó a Dinamarca con “Should’ve Known Better” en el Certamen de Eurovisión en el año 2012. Este año ha sido una de las que ideó Reddi para participar en el Festival Danés junto al productor Chief1.
Mathilde Savery es guitarrista y vocalista cuyo estilo se asemeja al rock de los 80. Ha participado en algunos festivales en su país antes de pasar a formar parte de este proyecto.
Agnes Roslund es una guitarrista de 19 años nacida en la ciudad sueca de Malå. La artista era parte del acompañamiento de Samira Manners en el Melodifestivalen de 2022 pero lo dejó para unirse al grupo Reddi y competir por representar a Dinamarca en el Festival Europeo.
Ida Bergkvist nacida en Suecia es una bajista que tiene una trayectoria en la música de varios años en los que lleva participando en shows y conciertos. De la mano de Reddi ha conseguido el billete para Turín.
SOBRE LA CANCIÓN “THE SHOW”
La canción nos lleva a las décadas finales del siglo pasado en un grito a ser fieles a uno mismo cuando los demás dudan de tí diciendo que nunca vas a dejarte ir y que no sientes ser como eres. También se puede interpretar en el mensaje que todos los comentarios destructivos que hacen las personas sobre tí pueden pasar factura y hacer daño pero que al final hay que tratar de encontrar la forma de sobreponerse a ellos y censurarlos. Ellas completan el mensaje de la canción aportando su estilo extravagante y llamativo a la hora de vestir y una energía en escena que hace que la canción cobre fuerza y sentido.

DINAMARCA EN EUROVISIÓN
Dinamarca ha participado en el Certamen Europeo en 50 ocasiones siendo su primera participación en 1957 y ha conseguido un total de tres victorias en 1963, 2000 y 2013.
Reddi tratará de devolver a Dinamarca a la final de Eurovisión tras quedar eliminados el año pasado con el dúo Fyr og Flamme y su tema “Øve os på hinanden” obteniendo un 11 puesto en su semifinal y 89 puntos
